FOUNDER’S LEGACY

The Foundation IRBG Is Built On

Before establishing IRBG, Dr. Qaisar Shahzad led numerous national and international initiatives in reproductive biotechnology. These achievements form the scientific and practical foundation upon which IRBG is being built.

  • 40,000+ embryos produced
  • 12,000 buffalo embryos exported to China
  • 5 IVF laboratories established
  • 4 semen production units established
  • Pakistan’s first buffalo IVF calf
  • Pakistan’s first FMD-Free Compartment
  • International collaborations
  • HEC-funded research

These achievements reflect Dr. Shahzad’s personal career and field record prior to and alongside founding IRBG — they represent the foundation the Institute is built on, not IRBG’s own institutional track record, since IRBG itself is newly established.
