Royal Group and Pakistan’s Ministry of National Food Security & Research signed an agreement covering the export of buffalo embryos, semen, and sexed semen to China — building on the buffalo genetics export program led by Dr. Qaisar Shahzad through Royal Cell Biotechnology (Guangxi/Pakistan) — and opening a new export market valued at an estimated USD 25 million annually for Pakistan, alongside provisions safeguarding Pakistan’s genetic resources and intellectual property under the Nagoya Protocol framework.
